Dr. Melanie Babot, DDS/MS
Ninja Dentist
Dr. Melanie has over two decades of experience as a pediatric dentist. She has been listed as a Top Dentist in Austin since 2007 in Austin Monthly Magazine and Texas Monthly Magazine. She attended the University of Oklahoma. She attended the University of Oklahoma for both her undergraduate studies and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She completed a pediatric specialty residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, where she obtained a pediatric dental certificate and a Masters's degree in oral biology. Before opening Austin Kids Teeth in Austin, Texas, Dr. Babot was a pediatric dentist near San Jose, California.
She enjoys working with children and takes pride in providing the best dental care possible with a holistic, whole health approach. When she isn’t providing dental care, Dr. Babot enjoys knitting, gardening, and all sorts of exercise, especially tennis.
Dr. Courtney Carr, DDS
Tooth Whisperer
Dr. Courtney was born and raised near Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Mathematics. She then attended dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry, graduating with honors in 2006. Following dental school, Dr. Carr pursued her pediatric specialty training at Baylor College of Dentistry as well, where she completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry. During her post-graduate training, she had the opportunity to spend extensive time working at Children’s Medical Center and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, gaining invaluable experience treating children with special needs, as well as those requiring sedation and hospital dentistry.
Dr. Carr is a board-certified pediatric dentist and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Capital Area Dental Society, and the Texas Dental Association.
Dr. Carr practiced in the Dallas area for several years before relocating to Austin and joining Austin Kids Teeth. She and her husband, Brett, have always loved the Hill Country and feel fortunate to be raising their three kids in this area. Outside of work, Dr. Carr stays pretty busy with her little ones, but in her spare time she enjoys running, baking, watching movies, reading, and spending time outdoors with her family.
Dr. Mary Fuselier, DDS

Dr. Mary Fuselier is a native of Tennessee but got to Texas as quickly as she could. She graduated Cum Laude from Texas A & M University with a B.S in Biomedical Science, before earning her DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Following dental school, she completed a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry. It was there that she had the opportunity to work at Children's Medical Center of Dallas & Texas Scottish Rite Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in sedation dentistry and in treating children with complex medical issues and special needs. Dr. Fuselier is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and serves annually as a Board Examiner for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
She is President-Elect of the Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Texas Monthly Magazine has recognized her as a Super Dentist for the last seven consecutive years.
A mother of four and a practicing Pediatric Dentist of almost 20 years, Dr. Fuselier understands first-hand the excitement and challenges of raising kids in today’s busy world. On weekends, she and her husband, Clay, can be found cheering on their daughters on at swim meets, lacrosse games, dance competitions, and track meets. Together, they love catching a bit of Austin’s live music or getting lost on the trails and waterways of Central Texas.
Dr. Matthew Johnson, DDS
A True Hipster
Matt Johnson, DDS, is a native Texan from Victoria, making east Austin his home for the last eight years. He attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio earning a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He then completed his pediatric dental residency at New York University, Bellevue Hospital and worked with the craniofacial team at NYU Tisch Hospital. He worked in private practice in SoHo and Brooklyn before returning home to Texas. Dr. Johnson is experienced in dental trauma, conscious sedation, Hospital Dentistry, Special Needs Patient Care and maintains an Associate Faculty position at New York University's Pediatric Dentistry Department.
Dr. Johnson’s hobbies include golf, skiing, traveling, food, and music.
Dr. Ella Skoler, DMD
EAST COAST GAL
Dr. Ella Skoler grew up in Boston, MA, before heading to New York University to complete her BA in Art History. Excited to blend her enthusiasm for art and science with patient care, she earned her doctorate in Dental Medicine at Tufts University in Boston, MA. She continued her education at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York, completing a 2-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry, where she served as chief resident and developed her passion for working with children. In her free time, Dr. Ella loves yoga, live music, and bookstores.
After years of traveling up and down the East Coast, Dr. Ella is delighted to call Austin her new home! She looks forward to serving the Austin community, and can’t wait to meet you!

Dr. Claire Foreman, DDS/MS

Dr. Claire grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and began her career in private practice in Central Illinois. She received her B.S. degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She then continued her education at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she earned her D.D.S. degree. Upon graduation from dental school, she was presented with five awards and was inducted into the OKU National Honor Society. During dental school, Dr. Claire discovered her passion for orthodontics and decided to pursue specialty training at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she earned her Certificate of Orthodontics and Masters in Oral Sciences.
Dr. Claire is a board-certified orthodontist with a distinct level of achievement in the orthodontic profession. She is committed to excellence and strives to achieve optimal results with each and every one of her patients. She is passionate about organized dentistry and is an active member at the local and national levels.
Dr. Claire and her husband, Jason, love exploring Austin while hiking or sunset seeking! In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, exercising, cooking, and spending time with her goldendoodle, George Foreman.
Dr. Erin Love, DDS
Bayou Girl at Heart
After spending her childhood in New Orleans, Dr. Erin headed to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and graduated Magna Cum Laude from LSU. Following college graduation, she moved to New York City and was a nanny for a year. It was during that year that Dr. Erin realized how much she loved working with children! She moved back home to New Orleans and obtained her D.D.S. degree from LSU where she was awarded the Clinical Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry as well as the Champion for Children's Oral Health awards. Following dental school, Dr. Erin completed a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Texas A&M in Dallas gaining experience in oral sedation and treating children with special health care needs.
Dr. Erin is excited to now call Austin home. She is passionate about providing the best possible care for children and focuses on a conservative and preventive approach to pediatric dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Erin and her fiancé, Kent, enjoy cooking, running, hiking and spending time with their dog, Sonny. Dr. Erin cannot wait to get to know you!
Dr. Debbie DeKay Brown

Dr. Debbie grew up in Michigan and completed her undergraduate degree and dental school at the University of Detroit Mercy. Looking for sunshine and warmer weather, she moved to San Antonio to complete her 2-year pediatric dental residency at UT Health San Antonio.Throughout dental school, residency, and after graduating, Dr. Debbie has loved giving back to the community and abroad by serving on a large number of dental brigade trips, providing dental work for underserved communities.
Dr. Debbie and her husband Garrett met in San Antonio, and moved up to Austin over a decade ago for the love of outdoor activities. They love spending time with their sweet family; a grumpy cat named Lilly, a sweet pup named Piper, and their adorable little girl who joined their family in 2020. A fun fact: Dr. Debbie is working toward becoming tri-lingual, learning Spanish AND ASL (American Sign Language)!
